The following memorandum dated May 17, 1996, was received from                 
Rosemary Kimlinger, Enrolling Secretary, Division of Legal and

following manifest error in CCS HB 412(brf fld H/S)(efd fld S) that            
has been corrected in enrolling:

Insert Commerce and Economic Development                                      
                                                                               
Explanation:  This corrects an error in the appropriation for HB 466,          
the Adak Reuse Authority.  Under SCS CSHB 466(FIN), the Reuse                  
Authority is placed in the Department of Commerce & Economic                   
Development.  However, an earlier version, CSHB 466(FIN) am, had               
placed  the authority  in the  Department of Community & Regional

Affairs.  The spreadsheet used by the Conference Committee on                  
HB412 was based on the fiscal note that was prepared when the                  
Authority was placed in the Department of Community & Regional                 
Affairs.  Although a revised fiscal note was submitted, the change was         
not made to the spreadsheet and therefore the wrong department was             
described in the appropriation.  Documents relevant to this error can          
be obtained from the Revisor of Statutes.
